J.- Recently one famous journalist Igor Poroshin said that Plushenko was gifted by nature, but he was in the wrong surrounding. That's why he chose "Banditskij Peterburg" (old "St. Petersburg 300" program) while foreign skaters were using Tchaikovsky for their programs.
E.- First, it wasn't "Banditskij Peterburg". It was a soundtrack. Second that program was elegant and deep, thanks to Igor Kornelyuk who arranged the music specially for me. In my career I skated "Don Quixote", "Carmen", Tosca", etc. Why didn't the journalist remember those programs? The artist should have various images, he can skate "Nutcracker or "Carmen", but he can also skate "Sex Bomb". The artist shouldn't be in the image of the prince only. E.- Now we are using special jackets for grouping the arms during jumps, on the floor. If you put your arms correctly, you will hear a special sound. If not- then not. Also, we are using a special disk-shape platform for training spins. The platform is moving and you are spinning. First I felt sick there :kli_ny: , but now I can do some good elements ::yaz-yk: .

Ой, умора. Женька такой довольный на всех фотках, как мальчишка. Видно, что соревнования это именно то, что доставляет ему удовольствие, а не какие-то там шоу. Вторая оценка высокая, хотя я не считаю что завышенная. Если некий господин получает 86, или сколько там, за то, что замбонит попой лёд и бортики, то почему бы Плющ не должен получить 88 за чистый прокат. Он явно ещё не в форме, что и понятно, учитывая предисторию травм и операций в сезоне. Нет квада в комбо, да и 3-2 не его уровень. А костюм мне понравился. Цвет оттеняет его глаза, слегка заниженный в талии широкий пояс подчёркивает торс и стройность фигуры. Вообще наши мальчишки почти все красиво на льду смотрятся: высокие, с длинными ногами, исполинским торсом и царской осанкой, такие аристократы фигурного катания. В целом сегмент был сильнее, чем на чемпионате Японии. Четверо (?) успешно исполнили квад, а сколько пытались, я и не считала. И этот уровень сложности и желания идти на риск есть прямое влияние возвращения Плющенко. Ждёмс завтречко. :plush32:

Could visit the gala in Osaka and see the event live in the arena. Namihaya is located in the middle of nowhere, also it was terrible cold inside. But the event was maginificent. Ladies field is quite strong, event juniors landed a bunch of good jumps and other elements. They all try to follow Shizuka's style and that's probably the negative point- lack of originality. Except Mao. I saw her first time live, not on TV, this season. She is way more beautiful than anyone else: smooth, sincere, refine, just fairy and gorgeous. Evene Shizuka looks almost wooden next to Mao. In men's Mura was the only one who performed a quad in a show (later Kozuka succeeded, but in a finale, not in a program). He skates very mature and his 3A is huge. He reminded me Honda's style and Yag's somewhere. Hanyu's skates seem like have no toes, only blades. He never stops actually smoothing the ice. Dai was sensual as always, and was just DAI! Chan was in a not-ironed T-shirt with the program of Start on Ice brand- a couple of jumps at the beginning (almost fell on 2A, but could save it), then just skating for the audience and the final spin. Evene Stef's program had more elements. He was beautiful in his Rigoletto, in spite of being a little hairy, with his amazing spins, blades, shining face and total love from the fans. The show ended up with a finale and a firework. :plush46:

In a bunch of interviews, as far as I remember, he said that it is exactly the same new 3-bedroom flat in a fancy Krestovkij Island of St-Petersburg- a gift from Putin that his ex wanted to take from him after the divorce. Donations/gifts don't count as matrimonial property, unlike purchases. That's how she became a co-owner of Putin's gift. LOL. Actually, somebody else could sue (within 10 years!) in order to recognize that contract of purchase/sale as invalid by court. About 10-15 years ago Krestovkij was still a place full of low-budget Soviet apartment buidlings without centralized hot water (people used gas for heating water). Now they are gone and the place is one of the most luxury area in the city. It's located near the sea, has rivers, it's quiet, with lovely parks, not far from the city center but it doesn't carry the hush and craziness of the last. Some kind of excape. Oh, and now they have a subway there. A really nice place to live in. A little windy in autumn and winter but it's not a big deal. :-):

^ Seconded. The SP costume has a unique color, not for Plush only, but in general this deep violet is not widely used in men's FS. Also, that ice pattern connetcs very harmonically with the real ice. I don't know why some people critisized his LP costume. For me it looks funky, very unconvenational (just like the story itself), carrying the features of that eccentric era in a humorous way. ::yaz-yk:

Сходила я сегодня на Stars on Ice. Вообще то не собиралась, я как то недолюбливаю это зрелище из стареньких и молоденьких фигуристов, потерявщих свою форму. Одни и те же костюмы, похожая музыка, пара прыжков 3Т и 3А и финальное вращение. Всё. Тоска, а не зрелище. Но на прошлой неделе они катались в Осаке, и в японской прессе, а также на фанфорумах было много хороших комментов о Дае, плюс Ханю был включён в состав. Ну в общем, во вторник я-маруся пришла в кассы, как-будто хорошенькие билетитки меня там прямо ждут. На арену билетов не было, но зато были в первый ярус, куда я и пошла. А сегодня увидела, что во втором ярусе вообще очень много пустых мест. И это в Японии, где обычно всё в первые же дни раскупают. Видимо ни я одна знаю, что из себя это SOI представляют. Ну заокеанские фигуристы катали то, что я от них а ждала. На Тодда с Райаном смотреть было невозможно- скука смертельная, и это притом что, Райан младше Плющенко, бедный еле на 2А устоял. Баттл был манерен как балерина, правда приземлил 3лутц, что для него событие. Саша стала толстушкой и прыгать вообще ничего не могла, даже одинарные. Сделала вращение, а потом что всё то сидела, то лежала на льду. Вот с кого ей надо брать пример, так это с Кати Гордеевой, которая в свои 40 лет хотя бы двойные делает, плюс прекраснейшие вращения, дорожки и в целом она очень легка в скольжении и быстра. Рядом с ней Керр-сестра так как шотландская корова на льду смотрелась, хотя по всем законам жанра должно быть наоборот, ведь Керр из танцев. Но Катину красоту и талант как говориться не спрячешь, не замажешь. Курт ещё был ничего в свои 45 лет. Его 2А хоть и двойной, но ужасно огромен, особенно для низкорослого мужчины с короткими ногами. Но мне как-то его высокие аксели больше понравились, чем все эти райаны, тодды, баттлы с их 3Т, исполняемых в потугах. Китайцы Тонг/Панг катали "Грёзы любви" Листа и откатали чисто. Мики тоже сделал всё, что хотела. Шизука слегка лодырнячиет похоже, терят форму, её божественные спирали, вращения куда-то улетучились. Канако сделал комбо 3-3, но упала на 3лутце. Мао была божественна и волшебна. Она пыталась прыгнуть 3-3, но допустила ошибку нa первом прыжке, потом добавила 2Т, но в общем комбо как надо не вышло. Но всё остальное было безумно красиво. Козука катал своё в своём стиле, но он как ни крути скучноватый, и аудитория его так и принимае. Ханю был что надо. Катал КП, сделал железно комбо 4Т-3Т, 3А, 3лутц и всё остальное. Чистейший прокат, с единственным квадом на всё шоу, за что ему отдельное спасибо. Дай катал Роксану, выполнил 3А, 3Т, 3Ф, вращения, дорожки, всё чисто, комбо не делал, но продал номер на овацию. Но на то он и Дай. Kогда его объявляли, его представили как "the dramatic, the Daisuke Takahashi!" Это артикль the, т.е. "тот самый, единственный и неповторимый Дайсуке", сказал всё за себя. Прекрасное зрелище. В общем и целом, не зря я сходила, благодаря японским фигуристам. А вообще пусть Женя в Японию приезжает. Давно пора. :plush31:
