"Greatest Skater/Team of All-time" bracket ends(07/16/2010) - Add another title to Yu-Na Kim's resume: Greatest Skater of All-time.
The 2010 Olympic champion from South Korea made mincemeat out of the competition in U.S. Figure Skating's "Greatest Skater/Team of All-time" bracket, capping her run by routing British ice dancers Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean in the championship round with a whopping 98 percent of the vote.
Kim, a No. 4 seed, routinely dispatched her opponents with ease. She began her march to the title began by trouncing Anjelika Krylova and Oleg Ovsyannikov. After that, she took down Peggy Fleming, Sonja Henie, Carol Heiss, Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov and, finally, Torvill and Dean.
It's hard to argue with Kim's victory, as she has won every major title in the sport over the last two years and owns the records for the highest ladies short program, free skate and overall scores under the international judging system. Maybe most remarkably, in 33 career competitions, she has never once finished off the podium.
