I see the third one now, on his left wrist...missed it in the other photo posted since he had his wrist turned away from the camera. Wow, I'm surprised he went as far as he did with his first visit to a tattoo artist. Figured he'd get one eventually since he's been talking about it a long time now...just not three at once, and not one so big like with the cross. I guess it will always be long sleeves or a lot of makeup in future performances?

When I first saw that costume I wondered if he was trying out some temporary tattoos before making the decision to get real ones. Anyway, not likely I would forget it since it is second in my list of favorite Plushenko costumes (the Tosca one reigns supreme, as always).

Will be interesting to see if he ever does a performance with them visible, but I imagine it would just be in a show if he did? Comps are probably too conservative for real ones to be on display? No idea, just don't recall seeing a skater with any visible tattoos during a competition.

I guess i remember seeing Ilia Klimkin's tattoo on his back or shoulder,i don't remember exactly.

Even though I totally accept Zhenya's tattoos, I'd rather he covered them during the performance...
And as for the costume, it's one of my favourites as well. Another one is Tosca's one and Je suis malade

I love those tattoos, and I love their deep meaning. So, I'd like to see them dancing and jumping with Zhenya! If he will present a program where this "metalhead look" doesn't fit with the costume, ok, let's cover them. But if the music goes well with those images, hurray! Something new on the ice!

I agree with you! Cannot wait to see him in Torino!
