OK, better ever than never
I collected some texts in English about Evgeni's cascade 3A-4T, which he training before almost a month (video from first post - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lr98t-0Ze80 )
... 4 full pages news in Goggle search of Ari's statements (only a few of them) http://www.ctvolympics.ca/short-track-s ... 19812.html14.11.2009., The Associated Press, By Barry WilnerOlympic champ Plushenko to skate in premier eventsEvgeni Plushenko's comeback is going so well he plans to compete in the Russian nationals and European championships on his way to the Vancouver Olympics.
The 2006 Olympic gold medallist and three-time world champion even has some new moves to spring on figure skating fans.
Ari Zakarian, Plushenko's agent, said at Skate America that the Russian star is
practising a quad-quad combination and a triple axel-quad combo.
"The jumps have been very good,'' Zakarian said. "He is jumping better every day. Evgeni is going to show these jumps next week in a competition in Moscow.''
No one has done either of those combinations in competition. In fact, virtually nobody practices them.
Then again, Plushenko always has pushed the envelope with his jumping.
"He lives for this,'' Zakarian said of the 27-year-old skater, noting Plushenko is eager to rekindle his rivalry with Switzerland's Stephane Lambiel, who also is returning from retirement and is a two-time world winner - although never with Plushenko in the field.
Plushenko had not skated competitively since the Turin Games until he won gold at the Rostelecom Cup last month. At that Grand Prix event, he showed no signs of the knee problems that hastened his retirement after Turin.
He said then: "I have to work on my spins, work on my steps.''
Obviously, he's also been working on his jumps.

Is a quad, quad combo in Plushenko's future?Evgeni Plushenko's irrepressible agent, Ari Zakarian, sat with the media yesterday. Like any good rep, he was putting out news about his client, who plans to compete at another small regional competition next week in Moscow.
Both Zakarian and Plushenko's longtime coach, Alexei Mishin, have been sidling up to reporters here, showing videos of the skater practicing a triple Axel, quad toe combination on their i Phones.
According to Zakarian, that's not the only surprise Plushenko has in store.
"He's also practicing a quad-quad combination," the agent said. "He may do it next week."
How about the vaunted triple Axel, quad toe?
"He may try that too," Zakarian laughed. "Who knows?"
I reminded Ari it might be time Evgeni turned his attention to other aspects of skating, like spins, choreography and transitions.
"He will, he will," Zakarian said. "You know, he is not [Stephane] Lambiel. Lambiel's spins are crazy; they're great. Evgeni's body doesn't move like that. Evgeni should have Lambiel's spins, and Lambiel should have Evgeni's jumps.
"But he's working on his spins. He's working on everything. He's been working for months. Believe me; I've been following him week by week."

http://evgeni-plushenko.com/img/skan/big/102.jpg«L’Equipe» - 18.11.2009, page 19 (CÉLINE LONGUÈVRE)To try or not?"I have a huge advantage over my opponents: I not have a pressure for the result. But to me lacked the adrenaline of competitions." Evgeni Plushenko shows thus, with his return after three and a half years of absence, and stunning victory at the "Rostelecom Cup", Oct. 24.
Very good success for the three-time world champion and Olympic title holder, in comparison with alarm, which created he with his team in these last days.
So, Ari Zakarian, his agent, revealed secret to the agency «Associated Press», that his client is preparing two new combinations - unprecedented, and completely insane: 3A-4T (a triple axel - a quadruple toe loop), and 4T-4T (quadruple toe loop - quadruple toe loop). Video, which showing the execution of the first cascade, were yet placed in the Internet at:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lr98t-0Ze80Of course, there is unfinished a quarter turn at the last jump, but the "great" blond (27th years) does not fall, which is incredible. Why? Because axel - the most difficult jump, only jump, who is performed with forward movement, in
force what it him not whole number of revolutions as the other jumps (which requires a half turn, if we compare with the rest of jumps).
(I will explained elementary, but not literary: entry in the axel is with face, not with spine)The load on the leg, after exit from the triple Axel is enormous, so, and to be more added and quad, which many do not even try a single jump with the normal dynamics.
(meaning: and with only one Axel's before quad, will be big problems)So, in the cascade, exit on the second jump is usually more cuted (crumpled, limited), and you will need stimulus momentum for a second jump, to increase the speed of rotation (twist).
(meaning: second jump in the cascade should "hitch" immediately, almost from the same place, and if you want to show the second jump in the cascade with a large number of revolutions, it is necessary to achieve certain velocities of twist (enlarge it) to be able to made all turnovers and then demonstrate a good exit). The technique should be perfect, edges of skate (must be verified) to the millimeter, and (must be present) increased tenfold (in the sense of - multiplication) power of performance.
Outlandish stunt, to remain in the historyIn the end, we do not see expediency of such a risk. But, this operation in the press, makes it possible to "live" Plushenko
(«vivre», translated more as: "to live, to exist, feed, food for talk"), despite the fact, that his nearest international competition is provided at the European Championship in Tallinn (Estonia, 19-23 January).
"Let's say, that this is - the message", smiles Zakarian. - "In recent years, the artistic side has the privilege
(he has in mind, it looks preferable to the technical side), especially with side of North Americans." (Canadian Buttle and American Lysacek, world champions in 2008 and 2009, won their title without a quadruple jump - note Longuevre).
"But the sport needs a guy like Joubert and Plushenko, who try crazy stunts, to keep the interest for the competition."
Frenchman postponed, until next season, the idea of "note in history" with new acrobatic stunts.
"Brian should win an Olympic medal, Evgeni have there are two (silver in 2002, and gold 2006)", - reminds Zakarian. - "He wants to be the first, who will be able to overcome these difficulties. Because, and across forty years, we will rather remember the first man who succeed in this accomplishment, than some ... N-th winner, which save some Olympic title."
This is not true. Nevertheless, Plushenko, who started well on time, recognizes that not work out
(not working on these problems, difficulties) daily, and in the best case, it is 30% successfuly attempts. And if he planned to submit them to the "Russian Cup" in Moscow this weekend, his agent has reinsured: "Evgeni had a cold the past few days, he not skating three or four days."
Deception, or credible information?

Number of points for the cascade 3A-4T, if Evgeni Plushenko will succeed in his performance at the competition.Increase value compared with "normal", gives a cascade
3A-3T (12.20 points: 3A=8.2 points, 3T=4.0) points, or rather a cascade
4T-3T (13.80 points: 4T=9.8 points, 3T=4.0 points), which Plushenko and Joubert jump in the short program.
Regarding to the cascade
4T-4T, which is already training Joubert, it is estimated with 19.60 points (4T=9.8 points, 4T=9.8 points). Add that, any innovation (extraordinary new items) will give its author and a bonus of 2 points.
Joubert: "The risk of injury"Brian Joubert, "not very interested" for these rumors generated around the cascade which is trying to Evgeni Plushenko, nevertheless agreed to leave a comment.
"Excelle in this kind of complexity, it is unbelievable. But there is more misinformation. Nearly two years ago, I training 4T-4T, and it was really close. But on the one exit, I felt as a sprained ankle. "Thanks" to repetition - there is risk of injury."
(at end of 1990's, Ukrainian Vyacheslav Zagorodniuk broken ankle, when trying to execution 4A - note Longuevre).
"As video on the Internet, with such complexity, I can also make. But work out on daily training, and at the competition - this is not the same thing. At the same time, I'll be the first to admire Plushenko's, if he succeeds in this, it would be beneficial to our sport. "
In the spirit of Joubert, often in isolation over the past few years, in his effort to increase the value of quad, similar success of Plushenko would be return sports and technical aspects, which is too often neglected by their rivals.
"As for me, for me there is the prospect of trying different quads and cascades with four (jumps). But, not before next season. "

... and translation from one russian newspapers...
http://www.gazeta.spb.ru/222136-016.11.2009.Ilia Averbukh:- This is a very complex combination, I've never saw anyone doing something like that. And if Evgeni can do this combination, it would be fantastic. Everyone does a triple axel - triple toe loop, but none with a quadruple. But to put this on his program is very risky and I don't think it's a justifiable risk. Evgeni skated excellently at Rostelecom Cup and in my opinion, if he added a second quad in his program it would be enough to win Olympics. But the fact that Evgeni is always moving forward and leads the others, it is an absolute plus.
Roman Kostomarov:I have never seen this element in someone else's performance, but even if this works out for Evgeni durin his trainig, I really hope he has enough sense to not put it into his Olympic program.
